Position Summary
As a Technician you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of game machines and related equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of electronic systems and mechanical components to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction within the Entertainment and Arcade industry.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Certifications in electronics or mechanical repair are a plus. Attention to detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to work independently and manage time effectively is a must. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Expected essential job duties are as follows:
- Unpack, assemble, and configure new equipment in accordance with specifications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment issues using technical manuals, manufacturer support, and established expertise.
- Install, relocate, and remove equipment as required. Maintains and repairs machines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Clean and sanitize equipment during service and maintenance activities.
- Perform comprehensive equipment inspections at client locations, ensuring cleanliness and proper operation.
- Refill redemption equipment, accurately track inventory usage, and submit detailed reports to the Office Manager.
- Safely operate a standard box truck in compliance with company and transportation regulations.
- Adhere to inventory control procedures when removing equipment or supplies from the warehouse and delivering to client locations.
- Load and unload equipment using liftgate systems, following all safety protocols.
- Assists in the setup and configuration of new arcade games and equipment.
- Maintains accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory.
- Responds promptly to service calls and customer inquiries regarding arcade game issues.
- Physical demands of the job include the ability to frequently lift or move 50 pounds or more is required.
Benefits and Wages
The hourly range is a minimum rate of pay of $18/hour and maximum rate of pay of $25/hour. Actual compensation within the range will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, and business needs. 401K benefits would also be included after 3 months. Health insurance may be a possibility, per eligibility requirements. Paid holidays and sick time are also included. A flexible schedule can be discussed.
